Speech & Language Screening

A speech and language screening is a brief, informal check to determine if your child’s communication skills are developing as expected. Screenings typically take 15–20 minutes and help identify potential concerns with speech sounds, understanding and using language, or social communication.

At Seaside Therapy, we offer free summer screenings for children ages 18 months to 12 years to help families determine whether a full evaluation or therapy may be beneficial.

No formal diagnosis is made during a screening, but you’ll receive a brief summary and personalized recommendations based on your child’s needs.
